This workshop not only introduces children to the fascinating, enigmatic world of the ancient Egyptians through the eyes of an Egyptologist, but also takes them on a journey through the mysteries of mummification and the “Book of the Dead.” The children are involved and participate at all stages throughout the day.
A full day’s workshop can cater for up to 90 children.

After a short interactive introduction, the children will take part in a series of activities for the rest of the morning.

Your Egyptologist will reveal secrets of mummification, from the death of a pharaoh, to tomb building and decorating, the mummification process, burial and finish with crowning of the new Pharaoh.
