Welcome to Portals to The Past.
Providing an affordable range of in-school Earth Science and History workshops from Reception to KS4. From Primordial Earth, Dinosaurs to Early Man, through Ancient Greeks to WW2 and Vietnam.
Our team of workshop leaders have a genuine passion for the past, giving students a truly memorable, well balanced educational experience.
No need for expensive coach trips, site entrance fees or extra staff, and no hidden extras.
The Portals team are not only highly experienced educators, but involved in their own field of expertise on many levels, from finding new fossil types, being actively involved in archaeological and historical research and recreation as well as taking part in many historical documentaries, feature films and BBC’s “Horrible Histories”.
Portals to the Past’s range of history workshops for schools are available from Reception through to KS1, KS2 and KS3 and provide students with an experience designed to stimulate and encourage a love of history. Portals’ primary level history workshops provide a real hands-on experience of the past. Real fossils and dinosaur bones are a feature of our range of Earth Science workshops, as well as Graham Woollard’s fabulous collection of Dinosaur models.
Our KS2 History workshops for schools are presented by people with a passion for archaeology and history who are experienced historical re-creationists.
